ARI BESER
Founder, Filmmaker
Ari, is a Getty Images Contributing photographer, author of ‘The Nuclear Family’ and filmmaker based in Kigali, Rwanda. He has spent over 10 years working with atomic bomb survivors in Japan to inherit and convey their testimonies to a wider audience. His grandfather Jacob Beser was the only man on both planes that dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Ari became a Fulbright National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellow, a member of the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons and Student Academy Award semi-finalist for his documentary work on the subject. Ari has given four TEDx talks, and a Creative Mornings Talk. He has work has been covered by NTV, the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and The Japan Times. His photography and writing has been featured in National Geographic, The Guardian, Religious News Service, The Telegraph, The Financial Times, French Vogue, The Nation Magazine, Oprah Magazine, PRI’s The World, EFE, El Diario, Harvard Law School, Human Rights Watch and Huffington Post.

Caroline has over 20 years of experience producing and leading creative development of documentaries at media companies that include ABC, NBC, and National Geographic, creating content ranging from news & current affairs features to longform documentaries to 360 experiences. She is an experienced leader of production and has served as the head of all Creative Content & Development for Verizon Media. As an innovative storyteller and hands-on creative consultant, Caroline delivers engaging content across multiple platforms for global media brands, driving new revenue streams and younger audiences.
Debbie London-Harrington
Head of Production Management
Debbie is head of production at Dogwoof and is a senior executive leader in the global multimedia market, overseeing business development and production for National Geographic, Discovery, Al Jazeera Networks Worldwide. Debbie previously oversaw more than 150 hours of factual programming every year as Senior Vice President and acting President of National Geographic Partners at the global headquarters in Washington DC.
Mary Retiniotis
Line Producer
Mary has worked in media for over 25 years. Her production management experience spans across senior roles with international broadcaster Al Jazeera Media Network, as well as film production for the Doha Film Institute in Qatar, managing production budgets for content development at both organisations. As an independent producer she has also worked on documentaries and news for HBO, History Channel, ABC TV Australia and CNN. She has also worked in publishing and communications in both the private and public sectors in Australia.
Cedrick Ishimwe
Associate Producer
Cedrick Ishimwe holds a degree in Communications with a concentration in business from Southern New Hampshire University (SHNU). He has been working in film and storytelling since 2016, where he produced and directed short documentaries, music videos, and short films intern at World Vision. Cedrick is recipient of Goss Grove Films talent incubator program. He has excelled in this production and has since traveled around the world to work on productions in Uganda, Kenya, and Japan.
